
About the Friends of Pisgah

The Friends of Pisgah, Inc. (FOP) is a group of volunteers that assists the State of New Hampshire in the planning, operation and maintenance of Pisgah State Park. FOP is actively involved in the development and maintenance of the park's trail system including conducting regular trail maintenance days open to the public. FOP has documented and shared the history of the area including building the replica house and reconstructed barn that houses with a collection of early furniture, farm and logging equipment. All so that the lands are preserved in a natural condition and conserved in accordance with an approved management plan.

What would I be doing as a volunteer?
Volunteers help clear trails, build trail bridges, maintain trail signs, organize activities, contribute to the newsletter, make new friends, and much more!
How do members stay informed?
Members receive periodic emails throughout the year to keep them informed about meetings and upcoming events such as hikes, volunteer work details, picnics and field trips. Members also receive first looks at the semi-annual newsletter.
Can anyone be a member?
We encourage anyone to join. Simply fill out the membership form.
